I am a Board Certified Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology. I completed a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Diplomat the American Board of the Psychotherapist Association.
I am the Founder and the Clinical Director of ACF Counseling Center, A CALMA Counseling Center in Hialeah, Florida and Miami Lakes Stress Center from 1993-2009. I served as a Public speaker in numerous television shows such as "Caso Cerrado", Telemundo, Univision, "Todas la mananas" a morning live show with Maria Antonieta Collins. I have been an active public speaker in several popular radio stations, churches and fundraisers. I have served as an expert witness in court. I have represented Victims of Domestic Violence, custody and Alimony cases, and children of divorce parents.
I have been in private practice for over 30 years. I was honored at the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Sunshine Awards Luncheon on November 7th, 2014 for the Women Owned Business category. Currently, I am the CEO and Founder of the Carnation Queens Org (Non-profit), Founded in February 2014. An organization that empowers women from all walks of life.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
I have a passion for what I do. I feel challenged by my clients daily. My profession is full of rewards specially when I see my clients making progress. There is a great reward in my work. I see the transformation of so many people. I enjoy giving them hope when they thought that their life was never going to change. Making a difference is my biggest reward.
