Are you feeling unfulfilled and unable to enjoy things that were once meaningful to you? Is anxiety/depression getting in the way of how you want to live your life? Are painful past experiences coming up in the present? I believe that there is true power in sharing your story with someone you trust in an accepting, supportive space. Using a relational & holistic approach, I create a safe therapy space to help clients get "unstuck" and begin to heal. In our work together we will build on your strengths and resources and determine together what is most important for you to work on. I use experiential techniques that move beyond traditional talk therapy, while also carefully attending to how best to address your own unique needs. Whether you are coming to therapy for the first time, or you are just looking for a change in approach, I will help to create the therapeutic environment you need to nurture your whole self and allow for meaningful change.

Let's work together on helping you to live your fullest, most rewarding life.

More Info About My Practice

Clients describe me as warm, personable and easy to connect with. I strive to create the kind of safe space where we can work collaboratively on what is important to you, while pulling from my clinical expertise and applying the treatment methodologies that fit best for your unique needs.

With 15 years of experience in the field, I have a wide range of clinical experience. Some of my specialties include: anxiety/depression; life transitions; parenting; relationship issues; healing from trauma & addiction issues; adolescents/young adults; and support for people in the helping profession (social workers, nurses, doctors).

I work with people from all backgrounds and experiences, and I prioritize making my practice inclusive, welcoming and diverse. As a mother and a working professional, I also appreciate how difficult it can be to navigate the world of parenthood and achieve balance in other areas of your life. In my work with parents around issues of birth, parenting, post-partum depression, and achieving work/life/family balance, I pull from both clinical as well as personal experience that clients find valuable and reassuring.

My Role as a Therapist

I see my role as therapist as a collaborative one. I view the therapy relationship as one of safety, trust, and compassion. While I do have strong clinical experience and training, I am not the expert in your life - you are. I will listen deeply to your story and strive to see the world through you eyes. With that relationship and trust we can work together to create the meaningful change you want, to create the acceptance and healing you desire, and to work toward living your fullest and most rewarding life.
