You may find that you have been having the same argument repeatedly, feeling stuck and hurt. Your relationship can change from the frustration of repeated negative interactions to a sense of trust, security, safety and love. What is usually not seen in arguments are the longings for connection, the loneliness, and missing the relationship you used to have. Understanding what us underneath rather than learning how to fight fair will change your relationship. I specialize in helping couples and families develop better, long lasting, and satisfying relationships. For those considering divorce, I provide Discernment Counseling to help you feel certain that you are making the best choice, whether you ultimately stay and commit to couples counseling or proceed towards divorce.
I also specialize in helping children, teens, and adults who have suffered Abuse or Trauma.
You can recover, heal, and have safe, satisfying, and loving relationships.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I have helped many couples struggling in their relationships to develop an understanding of the root causes of their problems, learn to support each other, and as a result rediscover their love and connection with each other. I'm Certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I am also trained in Discernment Counseling to help you decide whether to stay in your current relationship or to leave.
I have worked with a variety of families from many ethnicities. You can begin to work towards the family and relationship that you have longed for.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psychotherapy helps people find their own voice, their strengths, and a clearer understanding of what they want. Rather than learning communication skills, EFT counseling helps you understand the longings you and your partner have for a closer, safe, secure relationship and helps you work together for the love you have always wanted. Therapy can help you heal when you are hurting, scared, anxious, worried, or feeling hopeless. It can help you move forward with clarity and certainty.
