My therapy style is based on developing insight and facing painful experiences in a relaxed, non-judgmental, supportive space with the ultimate goal of living peacefully & with authenticity.
I feel a warm, relational approach in a safe space is always beneficial in a therapeutic process. My goal is to create an environment in which clients feel good about sharing thoughts and feelings in the pursuit of their goals and our therapy will reflect that.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psychotherapy can help enormously with life challenges large and small. This is accomplished by providing a safe space with an objective, empathic person to assist in untangling the emotional knots that inhibit growth, understanding of self and others and overall conscious living. What I love about being a therapist forming a partnership with someone and seeing how a good alliance and the work of therapy can positively impact a person's life and happiness in very real ways. I value the relationship that develops in a therapeutic process and always have the best interest of the client in mind during the working-through process.

My therapeutic style is to listen openly and carefully to help a client feel heard and valued, as well as to listen for themes in how someone relates thoughts and feelings about self and others- this can be very helpful in understanding how negative relationships and habits repeat themselves. Once this insight is developed it's a key piece in affecting positive change. I use feedback, objective alternative views of situations and thoughtful sharing in the purpose of increasing insight and instilling more self confidence in the client to make the changes they feel will be helpful. My practice style is casual, open, relational and inclusive. I feel that every client is a unique person with different therapeutic needs and I tailor my approach to that particular person.
