I have been a therapist in southern Colorado for almost 20 years. My colorful and diverse background allows me to demonstrate acceptance for my clients and explore your vision for change. Sometimes my role is to collaborate with you through a particular crisis but often it is about working with you through a process of change. I believe there are issues from our family histories that deserve better understanding. I see my office as a safe place to unpack our bags, weed out what is no longer useful, positive or healthy and then to develop the strengths and hope we need to move forward. I believe that change can be exciting and full of hope but first we face the fears that might be getting in the way.

More Info About My Practice

I am very familiar with the Twelve Steps and believe it is a wonderful set of tools for many clients. However, I understand that it may not be the best choice for everyone who struggles with addictive behaviors. Together we create a plan for you.

My fees are $80 for an individual session and $95 for couples/family sessions. I take several insurance plans and I can also utilize a sliding scale fee structure.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Take a look at the Resources page on my website. There are many postings of interesting articles in the areas of my expertise. There is a lot of good information out there for people who are trying to understand where to begin their search for answers. I am experienced and helpful in prioritizing my clients' tasks.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love the relationship that gets established between myself and my clients. Therapy takes courage and commitment and once the trust begins to develop, I am always inspired by the changes that are possible.
