Lisa views her clients holistically using a mind, body, and soul therapeutic approach. Lisa has a passion for working with individuals who are feeling "stuck" or a bit "lost" in the world and are experiencing struggles with their current life circumstances.

Integrating cognitive-behavioral therapy, energy psychology, and mindfulness practices, Lisa assists her clients in reducing stress, anxiety, and feelings of depression. Lisa believes that when we can identify the negative underlying beliefs that we hold, we are capable of real change. Through a therapy environment that is warm, accepting, and open, clients may develop a better understanding of self, creating a space for growth within their relationships and outside world. Lisa has specialized training in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or tapping), a form of energy psychology to help release stored emotional blocks. Through this technique individuals are able to release negative emotions and stress in order to find a sense of healing and peace. Lisa also holds a MA in Clinical Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

As a Registered Yoga Instructor Lisa offers private one-on-one yoga sessions with clients. Yoga can be a wonderful addition to your therapy or a stand alone practice. The benefits of yoga are vast including reduced stress and anxiety, mental clarity, improved posture, strength building, increased flexibility and so much more. Whether you are looking to address physical concerns or develop mindfulness, Lisa can tailor a personalized yoga program that meets your specific needs. Some of the varieties that are offered include beginners, vinyasa, restorative and meditative yoga.
