I have a passion for assisting individuals as they navigate a significant loss or major life transition. Sometimes during major life transitions such as separation, divorce, mid-life, retirement etc., individuals stuff emotions with the well-meaning intention of dealing with them "later". However, if "later" never comes, these repressed emotions can resurface under the guise of depression, anxiety or even anger or rage. As individuals progress in therapy and gain insight into their particular life circumstance, it is not unusual to uncover patterns of self-defeating behavior. Once these patterns of behavior are identified, it is possible for individuals to work toward lasting change. Whether it is short-term counseling or a longer term depth-oriented psychotherapy that you seek, I would be honored to work with you in a relaxed and non-judgmental environment.

How Psychotherapy Can Help
Psychotherapy can help individuals increase insight and self-awareness so that whatever is holding them back from living their best life can be pulled out of the shadows and processed within the safety of a professional, confidential relationship.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
There is great courage in making the decision to truly live and not just survive. By being courageous enough to stick with therapy through the inevitable yuck and muck of self-discovery, the process of healing begins and it is possible to witness previously small lives expand infinitely.
