I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with masters degrees in social work and child development. I have extensive experience working with adults and children facing a wide range of behavioral health issues. My view of counseling is that sometimes people get "stuck" at some point in their development and my job is to help them develop the tools to start moving forward again. I am energized by finding resources and solutions to empower my clients.

More Info About My Practice

I am not on any health insurance panels and am a fee-for-service provider. I can provide a detailed invoice upon request that you can submit to your health insurance for reimbursement.

I am able to provide therapy via telehealth.

My Role as a Therapist

My role is to help clients who are "stuck" get unstuck. I perceive the client to be an expert about his or her life (or children) and my role is to help the client develop tools for coping with the issue.

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy

Sessions are generally 50 minutes. Clients are typically seen once or twice a week in the beginning, less frequently as therapy progresses. The number of sessions depends on what the client's current needs are. It depends on the nature of the issue and the goals of therapy. Some clients have a very specific problem that can be worked through in a relatively short period of time. For others, counseling is an on-going learning process and they choose to receive counseling for a longer period.
