Everyone experiences conflict in one form or another. It may reveal itself slowly and subtly, or it may occur suddenly and unexpectedly during a life changing event. Unresolved conflicts are associated with anxiety, depression, trauma, and low self-esteem. As a result, they may adversely affect our relationships or daily activities, and influence us to seek comfort from unhealthy sources.
I help individuals and families to manage their conflicts in healthy ways. Where possible, I work with people to find positive and peaceful solutions to their issues. My counseling techniques involve utilizing your strengths and developing practical solutions so that you can reach your therapeutic goals.
I have successfully worked with families, young people, and adults for over a decade. Please visit my website for more information on my professional experience and counseling techniques. You are invited to contact me with any additional questions you may have.

More Info About My Practice
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to let me introduce myself. My name is Lindsay Scheinerman, LPC and I have been in this field of work since 2007. I graduated from Maryville University with my Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling. I had the pleasure of returning to Maryville University as an adjunct professor for their Graduate and Undergraduate programs to teach future therapists in the field.
Through my experience in the field and I have counseled individuals, families and groups ranging from kindergarten to retirement. My roles have included working for a crisis intervention hotline, being an employment counselor, a substance abuse counselor for Veterans, a substance abuse counselor for adolescents and young adults and working with youth in a school based setting kindergarten through twelfth grade.
After much thought I decided to open my own practice to for youth, adults and families. I am very excited to work with you and help you discover and build your own personal life successes. I do not focus on one single therapeutic approach rather than focus on the best suited for that particular individual or family. There are many situations that can take place in a person's life that they may need help processing their feelings in order to move forward and build coping skills.
