My approach to counseling is very results oriented. I want people to start feeling better right away. I help people think about themselves, their lives and their relationships differently. I help people take control of the way they feel and how they respond and deal with the issues they face. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Relationship/Marriage Counseling, and Clinical Hypnosis. I also use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or meridian tapping. I work extensively with couples needing relationship counseling and am a certified instructor for the national PAIRS Foundation, whose mission is to teach attitudes, emotional understandings, and behaviors that nurture and sustain healthy relationships. Additionally I am a Certified Hypnotherapist and use clinical hypnosis to work with smoking cessation, weight loss, chronic pain management and a variety of other issues.

Most of my clients come to see me because they specifically want someone with experience and expertise in Marriage and Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Clinical Hypnosis.

I spent over 23 years as an active duty Army officer and have worked extensively with military personnel and military families. Most therapists at Center for Life Strategies accept insurance; however, I am an out of network provider.
