There are crucial and very difficult times in our lives when we arrive at a juncture with two directions: one path leading into what we don't want and the OTHER PATH leading into new growth, new awareness, and new actions.
This is the therapy I do, guiding and helping individuals deeply understand where they've been and where they are --and most of all creating mindful thought and actions in their lives, which bring meaning, purpose, and fulfillment.
This crucial juncture might be one of addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, sexual frustration, intimacy conflict, attachment avoidance and/or dependence.
As an intuitive psychotherapist, I work with therapy as a means of emotional, mindful, physical, sexual, spiritual positive growth for individuals.

More Info About My Practice
I work with couples and individuals in brief intensive therapy (long term is offered as well).
Treatment style is flexible to include what is most optimal: attachment, psychodynamic, somatic, cognitive, existential, mindful, spiritual, experiential.
Privacy and Confidentiality are critically important to me. My office is very private, very comfortable, and very centrally located. In order to maintain complete privacy and confidentiality for the individuals with whom I work, I do not accept insurance--if I did, I would have to provide insurance companies with disclosure of an individual's diagnosis, and confidentiality and privacy would be lost. I do offer a sliding scale.
My View on the Nature of 'Disorders'
How can anyone survive without arriving at a so-called "disorder"?
This is my view: that different experiences in life, particularly in childhood and adolescence (although young adulthood and adulthood certainly are included) produce an impression upon us, and so to speak sculpt us in ways that are not our choices, be these ways destructive or otherwise. As children and teens, we learn to survive in any way we can (although we don't realize what we are doing), and this can include dissociation and attachment conflicts. When we are adults, these means of survival no longer serve us: rather they come to block us!
Unblocking is what therapy offers--so that freedom of our choices truly exists. We cannot be responsible as children when we are under fire, but as adults we can be accountable--and therapy helps us move into making choices and taking actions that bear witness to our clarity, vision, honor, and productivity.
