More Info About My Practice

Board Member 2014-2015 of the Washington Mental Health Counselors Association (WMHCA), as well as a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) since 2009. For the benefit of my clients, I am continually engaged in professional development and actively work to stay current in advances in the field.

I am conveniently located in Downtown Seattle at 3rd & Stewart, near Belltown & Pacific Place/Westlake Shopping Centers.

Theoretical Influences that Guide My Work

I believe in collaborating with clients to assist in areas you wish to develop, change, or heal in order to evolve. This may include challenging old patterns, grieving losses, or building new skills, while becoming more connected to yourself at a deeper level in order to move into a more fulfilling life.

Depending upon your needs and goals during consultation, I utilize a variety of skills and approaches that I have education and experience in as a therapist.

I am grounded in the Psychodynamic approach of Attachment-based theory because I have understanding that it is our first relationships that most influence the way we respond and interact in our current relationships. Healing the wounds of the past, building awareness of our triggers, and choosing different responses can go a long way towards bringing peace and fulfillment into our lives.
In addition, I have training and experience in Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Strength-Centered, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Enneagram Personality Assessment, Narrative, Integral and Person-Centered Therapies.
