Many people tell me they are surprised it works to talk it out/talk it over. We all get overwhelmed at times with stress, dissatisfaction, ourselves, and our relationships. We need relief from the symptoms. Whatever those symptoms may be for you, I am here to help. Relieving the symptoms will allow us to go deeper into the underlying problems and patterns that need addressing. My goal is to support you in a compassionate, efficient, and solution-directed manner. My focus is to help you gain insight, learn new skills and establish better coping strategies.

More Info About My Practice

My practice is devoted to both individuals and couples. Both can benefit from the integration of evidence-based approaches that work to make relationships stronger. Through skill building and extensive experience, my approach is aimed at increased connection, shared meaning, improved communication, and behavior change. Couples can effectively reduce gridlock, improve their ability to problem solve, and improve their friendship/connection.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I have specific and extensive skills in helping individuals cope with chronic pain and illness - whether acute or chronic- and with the impact this has on self-concept, self worth, and relationships. I successfully work with individuals of all ages and have an interest in including seniors, disabled individuals, and veterans in my practice.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance
