Therapy is an important step to caring for yourself in your time of need. It can help you cope with a recent loss, reduce the anxiety that arises at work or in school, and even help you feel closer to your family and friends. Much like our physical health, one's mental health requires frequent attention to help you be successful. Whether you are experiencing long-term difficulties or situational concerns, seeking therapy is tremendously beneficial in helping to achieve overall wellness.
I have almost 10 years of experience in providing therapy to adults, and currently act as a supervisor for students in a clinical psychology training program. In my practice, I value collaboration, trust, honesty and support. I help you identify the problems that feel overwhelming and gain insight into how to rebuild what seems broken. I help you care for yourself in a different way and heal from what has caused you harm.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
While therapy is often difficult to start, it is remarkably rewarding for those who have the courage to do so. Think about a past time when you made a successful, positive change for yourself. Most likely, excitement and fear were part of the process. These are normal and appropriate responses to new situations. Taking the first step is the most difficult part. Once involved in therapy, most people's uneasiness diminishes and they find that it is an enjoyable and enriching experience.
