I believe that everyone has the ability to become their best self and feel the happiness and fulfillment we all seek. However, certain experiences and emotions can create a barrier to achieving this lifestyle. I collaborate with my clients to gain and understanding of their perspectives and emotional state so that I can offer the best possible care. My goal of therapy is to help my clients regain their confidence so they can tackle the challenges of life and find happiness.

More Info About My Practice

Taking the first step to seeking help can be very difficult, so we work to make sure our office is as welcoming as possible. We accept several types of insurance and offer a sliding scale fee for those with financial limitations. Our office strives to make the process of therapy easy and welcoming for everyone!

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I have worked with many types of individuals including adults struggling with anxiety, depression, psychotic disorders, and trauma as well as teens experiencing difficulty with body image and self-esteem issues, relationship problems, and anxiety/depression. I have also worked with couples experiencing issues such as infidelity, trust, domestic violence, and communication issues. I have completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and integrate this method in couples work. My previous experience working on a crisis team for people experiencing mental health emergencies has prepared me to navigate challenging and urgent mental health issues.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Working as a therapist has been the most rewarding aspect of my life. The improvement of client's functioning is of the utmost importance and seeing the improvement over time reminds our office why we are in this field. I believe in a collaborative process with clients and routinely review my therapeutic style to tailor any approach to meet their needs to ensure they receive the best care possible.
