As a wellness professional, Kimberly Tomlinson enjoys empowering individuals, couples, families, and groups to live happier, healthier lives. She has worked for over 15 years as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor corporately and in private practice promoting wellness on an individual, relational, and community level. Using clinically tested and evidenced-based interventions, and incorporating cutting edge, creative therapeutic strategies, Kimberly has enjoyed seeing clients improve their quality of life, heal, and thrive.

Kimberly has contracted with various organizations and worked individually to develop expertise with diverse populations including working with relational and family issues, depression and anxiety, parenting, and significant mental illness. As a qualified counselor supervisor, Kimberly also enjoys mentoring mental health counselor graduates as they work to obtain licensing.

Kimberly obtained her Bachelor?s Degree in Psychology graduating with Honors in Psychology from the University of Central Florida publishing an Honor?s Thesis within the university. Kimberly went on to obtain her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida and is a member of the Psychology National Honors Society. Post-graduation, Kimberly was hired by the company with whom she did her one year pre-grad internship and completed an additional two years of face-to-face client work prior to sitting for licensing. After obtaining her licensing, Kimberly continued to work with various populations including ongoing individual, couples, and family counseling and group counseling with people struggling with Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Depression, and all forms of anxiety. Kimberly continued her efforts to expand her experience working with others by teaching a court ordered parenting class for the state and by starting her private practice.

As Kimberly considers her gift to be counseling and as she considers psychology and empowering others toward complete wellness to be her ultimate passion, she continues to develop her practice. Kimberly respects the beliefs of others and works to assist others according to her expertise in mental health. Additionally, Kimberly works to associate with and enlist physical wellness professionals and she offers faith-based counseling for individuals, couples, and families who ascribe to the Christian faith and desire to heal in context. Beyond healing, Kimberly believes that ultimate wellness exists; her desire is to see others experience peace through healing mentally, physically, and spiritually.
