Life today is challenging in the best of times. The numerous variables that affect our everyday existence ( family, life, death, work ) are compounded by external forces over which we may feel we have little control; (economy, poverty, global warming, war). It can become very overwhelming and as a result we can be discouraged. My job as your therapist is to listen without judgement, accept without minimizing and encourage you to pursue your self identified goals with the dignity and respect you deserve.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

We all have gifts to share. I am able to help you tap into your confidence and live more closely to your potential. I also utilize Advanced Integrative Therapy to assist you with breaking old patterns from the past that prevent your from moving forward.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

When practiced properly therapy can help one " find their inner voice" and be their "authentic selves", even if others don't agree with your vision of yourself. Therapy can also assist one to dump old baggage that is no longer useful and just serves to hold you back.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

The miracle of therapy for me is that two strangers meet in a room. One talks, the other listens. A connection is made that allows the seeker of help to feel heard, respected and dare I say " loved" ( appreciated )unconditionally for who they are and what they have to offer the world. The seeker of help is the one taking all the risks AND the one with all the power.
