I am continually awed by our capacity for healing and growth, and consider it my privilege to create a safe place for this compelling work. I seek to create a therapeutic relationship grounded in mutual respect. Therapy is a collaboration through which clients discover their own power to heal. "We are stronger than we know."

I have worked with children, adolescents, and their families since 1998, providing therapy and assessment in ED school and residential facilities; as well as the DC juvenile justice and PG foster care systems. My experience and expertise is broadened in private practice, working with adult clients with a variety of difficulties and diagnoses. I work with clients across all age groups, providing couples, family, and individual therapy to address issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and relationship conflict.

I also have specialized experience and training for treating attachment/adoption difficulties and trauma; childhood abuse; ritual and sexual abuse; and related post-traumatic and dissociative disorders. Finally, I offer concise and comprehensive psychological evaluations.

Though I do not work directly with insurance panels, I provide an invoice containing all necessary information for you to pursue reimbursement. My fees start at $150, though I will consider a sliding scale for clients who can demonstrate financial need. Please don't hesitate to call me at 703-283-4153 if you have questions and/or would like to schedule an appointment.
