Are you feeling overwhelmed, confused, exhausted, or in a funk? Perhaps you are at a point in your life when your ideas of where you should be don't match up with where you are. Does it seem as though there is no way out of your current situation? I can help you navigate your way through these feelings to a place where you have more clarity and choice about what you think, feel, and do. Together we will work to identify both the aspects of your life that are working for you, as well as the aspects that may benefit from deeper understanding and awareness. I believe that with a sensitive and non-judgmental therapist, you will gain the ability to explore the parts of yourself that will bring about the changes you desire and much, much, more.

More Info About My Practice

I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families. Whether it is the challenges of starting out on your own, marriage and parenthood, the loss of a loved one, more fulfilling relationships, or addiction, I can help you gain the support and tools needed to feel more in control and reach your potential.

Clients have said that they appreciate my sense of humor, feedback and support, curiosity and sensitivity to their unique situations, and my broad range of experiences as a dancer, artist, production executive, and parent. What we can't face looks for us anyway," (John Trudell).

I offer a free phone consultation and will respond promptly to your inquiry. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have about fees, scheduling, insurance, and to see if I might be a good fit for you.

*Please note: emails are often delayed through the website admin dept. as they check for spam, etc. They are also delayed over the weekend. The best way to reach me is by phone: (323) 350-8849.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

This is an issue where you need to know the importance of feeling safe and connected to who you are working with. That is the most important element in a successful therapeutic experience. This is more important than how many degrees a therapist holds, where they did their training, all of that. Therapists are people too and so there are some great ones, some average ones, and some out there who are not so great. When searching for a therapist, trust your initial response to someone. By the end of a phone conversation, you should feel either ready to move forward or to pass. Lastly, by the end of the first session, you will probably know if the therapist is the right person for you. If not, move on rather than continue with someone you are not excited to work with.
