Approaches: Transpersonal approach, EMDR, clinical hypnotherapy, somatic release to promote body-mind integration.
Fees: Sessions with adults are typically 1.5 hours @ $150, or $100/hr for adolescents. Kent's office is a spacious, bright, quiet office in a residential area in Loveland, CO.
He also provides confidential (Hipaa compliant) video conferencing and phone sessions at the same rates.
Insurance: Rocky Mountain Health Plans provider, Value Options-Kaiser. Beyond that, Kent will provide superbills so you can bill your own insurance for reimbursement

My Therapy Focus
The deepest healing and transformation occurs within yourself. Your self discovery is paramount and this comes from you going into various vulnerable areas, allowing analysis to decrease, while following a path internally into your innate wisdom that knows how to bring harmony to any situation. We all have frozen or blind spots that seek to be heard and seen, yet so often we hide them away as shameful or unsightly aspects of ourselves.
As you explore these deeper recesses, you are afforded the experience of inner healing. Then you arrive at a knowing, a deeper awareness of self, something you earned and then fuels you in a healthy manner.
Twenty years of private practice and journeying in here with many, continually reminds me that internal transformation is always available to us. We can't buy it, we can't have someone else do it for us, it's an inside job, and once a person chooses to explore these deeper internal recesses, the awaiting gifts far exceed our wildest imaginations.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
Going for help is important, before situations or imbalances create disease. You have a right to interview as many therapists as you need, until you find the right fit. Trust your intuitive hit on who you feel can assist. Typically deep change takes tremendous courage and does not happen overnight. How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
In my recent walk with prostate cancer, I attended regular psychotherapy to better understand the deeper meaning of cancer. Cancer is not something to fight, it to me has been something to learn from, while uncovering and healing patterns that no longer served me.
I also sought out gifted naturopathic oncologists and healers, a Russian energy healer, and Native American wisdom keepers for answers. I also am part of a research project with the National Cancer Institute at the NIH in Bethesda, MD, so that others can benefit from what i continue to learn about myself, nutrition, mental/emotional and spiritual health.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
In my experience weekly therapy initially is what is most beneficial. I am not firm here, unless I see a pronounced need for stabilization. You will be assigned homework, so that you learn along the way how to continually create a self-healing body, mind and ability to self regulate emotionally.
If anything we develop a co-therapy relationship with clear boundaries, impeccable accountability and major focus on natural curiosity and learning. We will promote interactive learning and physiological wellness by continually activating your parasympathetic nervous system (the part that boosts your immune system, creativity and imagination).
Eventually the question will be posed,
"What will it look like, when we are finished?" That time arrive will arrive in naturally in the therapeutic relationship.
