Whether I'm counseling or coaching, my approach can be summed up in one word: Connections. Our connections with those around us form the foundation for our happiness. Strong connections result peace and joy in life--even in difficult times. Weak or non-existent connections create a life that is often lonely and unbearable.

We form connections based on how much we allow ourselves to trust. Through counseling and coaching, I have helped hundreds of clients learn about their own needs and patterns, how to set healthy boundaries with others, and ultimately how to trust and form the strong connections so necessary for happiness. Let me help you, too!

More Info About My Practice

While I see clients in person in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex area, I also provide online therapy via Skype. If you've never tried counseling before or have felt it would be uncomfortable to go to a sterile office environment to share your most personal thoughts and feelings, try talking to me in the comfort of your home at a time which meets your needs. I look forward to hearing from you!

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

For me the question comes down to one thing: do you want to try to make things better and take some control over your situation, or would you rather leave it up to those around you?

Even when it seems we have little or no control over a difficult situation, the truth is we make choices every day that either move us forward to a healthier place, move us backward to an unhealthier place, or keep us stagnant right where we are--which is often a place of sadness, anger, isolation. Counseling can make the difference in which choice we make. I learned this myself years ago when I was in counseling with a great therapist. The decisions I learned to make then have brought me here today. This is the reason I chose to become a counselor myself.

It's a difficult step, but well worth it!
