Do you ever feel like life is a merry go round moving up and down and going in a circle but not moving forward? I have a passion as a therapist to help you figure out the patterns and root cause that keep you in a circle of repeating the same patterns over and over expecting a different result but getting the same result. In helping you identify the root cause that keeps you in repetitive patterns you, can move forward into improving your relationships and create a better quality of life for yourself. My goal is to provide a safe, empathetic, non judgmental environment to explore the root of what keeps you stuck in a cycle.

I believe in identifying the pattern that keeps you stuck. We can work on ways to unravel the pattern and create new healthy patterns. Therapy to me is an art of intuition, skills and good listening skills to be able to meet you in the exact place that you find yourself. Therapy provides a safe place to discuss intimate details of ones life including experiences you have not talked about before. More Info About My Practice

I am not on insurance panels. My individual rates are $100 per 1 hr session. Couple rates are $250-$300 for a minimum of 2 hr sessions.

My main therapy focus is connecting with you and building rapport. Once we identify the goals of your therapy, I will use the best therapy modalities that fit your needs. For individuals, one of my primary modalities is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). EMDR therapy takes the premise that pathology is based on unprocessed memories that are stored intact- so if someone has some irrational beliefs or negative behavior, that's not the cause but rather the symptom. We are at the mercy of our memory networks, and if an experience in the past hasn't been processed, we are swayed in different directions by all of the negative emotions and feelings of the original experience. So if we have a similar experience in the present and the memory links to material that is unprocessed we react as if the original episode were happening. EMDR can be used with PTSD, anxiety, addictions and many other issues.

For couples I predominately use the PACT modality (Psychological Approach to Couples therapy). Read on my website more information on this modality. I have experience working with couples in dealing with infidelity, conflict resolution and building a better relationship. I help couples understand how they are neurologically wired and help them discover ways to accept and embrace their deficits and discover ways they can nurture their partner and keep their relationship protected and safe. In addition I co- facilitate trauma groups with Dr. Aimee Pearson.
