I conduct in-office, Telehealth, and Walk n Talk therapy sessions with clients. Walk n Talk is where I meet with a client in a local park and we walk while conducting the therapy session. Getting outdoors really changes the dynamic of the session. Clients are often more relaxed as being outdoors is familiar, rather than being in a therapy office. But if being outdoors is not for you, don't worry. I still meet with clients in my nice cozy office or online.
Often a person is hesitant to seek therapy because they see this as admitting a weakness. In fact, it is being strong and should be seen as a strength. It takes courage to see within yourself that you need help, that there is an area that needs change. It takes even more courage to actually ask someone for that help.
