You can feel better and restore your life no matter how long you have struggled. You don't have to remain trapped by worry, sadness, and feelings of being overwhelmed. You are not alone. There is hope. You may face struggles at work, school and in relationships. We all face challenging times, but the right skills can help you overcome worry, sadness, and unhappiness. Therapy is a collaborative journey that can help you achieve greater joy, freedom, and contentment.
Life is hard. If you struggle with unresolved trauma, poor work performance, anxiety, relationships, or not feeling like yourself, I am passionately dedicated to helping you cultivate the tools that can help you achieve success and happiness, so you can create the life you want.
I offer a holistic, evidence-based approach to therapy that uses approaches such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based therapy that addresses your specific needs. I love my work, and look forward to helping you and your family create fulfilling lives.
I specialize in treating trauma and anxiety and I work with adults, young adults and teens.
Don't wait another day. You don't have to suffer any more. I would love to connect with you and hear your story so please give me a call or click on my website to schedule an appointment today.

More Info About My Practice
Pain and suffering are part of life and can't be avoided. Sometimes life's challenges turn into profound learning opportunities, and you are shown that you are stronger than you thought. At other times, if you don't work to heal painful experiences, they can stay with you and make your life much more difficult.
If you are like most of my clients who seek therapy, you may feel dissatisfied, discouraged, or even hopeless about your life right now. However, there is something inside you that is pushing you to reach out for help in order to end your pain.
The good news is that this desire to achieve greater happiness and fulfillment is the first step toward achieving it. My goal as a therapist is to help you face challenges more effectively and ultimately, even grow from the difficulties you're facing so that you can embrace who you are and live your life to its fullest.
You may have doubts that this is possible, but the truth is that it's always possible, regardless of how much you are suffering.
My style is collaborative. You and I work together to decide on a plan to help overcome your problems and then reassess as we go to make sure you feel good about your progress and the approach we're using. I have training and experience in a number of evidence-based approaches to therapy and I usually combine several of them so that you will receive therapy that is specifically tailored to your needs.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
• Trauma: Trauma comes in many forms, and traumatic events are not always life-threatening or dramatic. Losses of all kinds, including the transition to a new job or school or facing a bad relationship, can be traumatic. I specialize in trauma work because I like helping people move forward so the past does not control them. I use EMDR and other treatment modalities to help my clients safely overcome trauma without feeling re-traumatized.
• Anxiety: Anxiety is one of the most common reasons people seek therapy. It not only affects your physical and mental health, but also your relationships, family life, and career. I specialize in anxiety because I like helping my clients reduce their anxiety and fear, increase joy and happiness, and find joy in their lives.
• Young Adults: The transition to adulthood can be extremely difficult and confusing. It might seem like all your friends know exactly what they're doing and you're the only one who's struggling, but you'd be surprised at how many people feel lost, stuck or confused during this time of their lives. Sometimes, talking to a professional can help you regain your sense of confidence and get your life headed in the direction you want.

It's important to remember that "fit" is a hugely important factor when choosing a therapist. Research indicates that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in therapy, so shop around until you find a therapist that you feel you really connect with. However, education, training, and experience also matter a great deal so make sure you're familiar with your therapist's credentials and feel confident that they have treated people with the same/similar concerns that you have many times in the past.
