I work in Teaneck NJ with individuals who are facing various struggles, be it in your career, in a relationship, with loss, and the difficulties that come with such transitions and change. I will help you find the solutions and confidence needed to get you back on track.

I aim to empower you by identifying the issues at hand, I focus on your strengths and the goals you want to achieve. We will work together collaboratively and this process will help facilitate your own unique pathways toward growth and change. My clients are inspired to overcome obstacles, live more meaningful lives, and have more satisfying relationships.

My specialties are helping clients reduce anxiety, stress, and depression. Do you have symptoms of anxiety? These include feelings of fear, tension, obsessive thoughts, ruminations, restlessness, or nervousness. Perhaps you feel depressed and feel sad, hopeless, unhappy, a lack of motivation, helpless, or are having crying spells. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, call me and we can work together to help you feel better and reduce these symptoms.

In addition, I specialize in working with parents of children with special needs in Teaneck, NJ, helping them to deal with the grief, loss, and anger that is part and parcel of being the parent of a child that is challenged. I strive to establish a safe and comfortable environment that is tailored to your individual needs. If you have a child with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder diagnosis or with Type 1 Diabetes, you are aware of how overwhelming it can be for a parent to care for a child with special needs. These parents need as much support and understanding as their children, but most are unable to get anything for themselves. Taking care of yourself is crucial to taking care of others.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Most people question whether they really need to go to therapy or is therapy really for them? Talk therapy allows you to share whatever is on your mind, and does not only address the symptoms of whatever problem you may be experiencing, but helps to address the underlying causes. It helps you to get a better understanding of who you are as a person, as well as other people in your life, be it personal or professional. The process, over a period of time, is beneficial and provides you with the ability to improve yourself and heal in the long term.
You deserve to be good to yourself, and you deserve to be happy. If you don't want to engage in therapy now, what will be different in 6 months time?
