I utilize a straight forward and empathic approach to treatment. I believe that to have a happy life one must focus on having meaning and purpose, while also developing effective skills for dealing with problems and challenges in your day to day life. Quality of life has also been shown to come from relationships, so I also work toward improving relationships and increasing an individuals self awareness to better manage his or her interpersonal effectiveness. My approach to therapy uses a combination of support and skill building to help you heal or make the changes you need to have a better life.

Therapy can help you feel less strained and overwhelmed, providing tools to manage these feelings. Therapy can help you increase self confidence and pursue your goals and dreams. Therapy can help you feel greater pleasure in activities you invest in, as well as improve your physical health (such as decrease headaches, stomachaches). Therapy can help your sleep or decrease reliance on substances. Therapy can help improve your performance at your job or at home. Therapy can help you cope if you or someone in your family has been diagnosed with a chronic or terminal illness.
