I help people get to the root of their challenges by going beyond normal conversation and into their deeper layers of self. I see adults and adolescents with an extensive variety of issues, both individually and in couples therapy. I work primarily from a mindfulness and somatic approach. Current research indicates that mindfulness and body oriented approaches work more effectively than traditional talk therapy by itself. My area of specialty is treating trauma survivors, but my practice is not limited to seeing only these clients. I'm a certified provider of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is an evidence-based therapy utilized to treat trauma, depression, anxiety, and an array of additional issues. I also work from a Hakomi approach to utilizing mindfulness -based somatic techniques. If you desire actual change in your life, and you are wiling to put in the work on yourself, give me a call and we'll set up a free in-person initial consultation.
