Billing and Insurance

I don't currently accept insurance, but I can provide documentation if clients wish to submit to an insurance company for "out of network" benefit coverage

Fees: My full fee is $200 for a 50 minute session. I also have a sliding scale for those who are unable to afford my full fee, which depends on client income/financial stressors, therapy needs, rate of attendance, and time of appointment.

Current full-time students and current or past members of the military may also qualify for reduced fees.

Please feel free to call with any questions.

I specialize in helping people who are going through major transitions and difficult life phases that are causing symptoms of anxiety, feelings of depression, general dissatisfaction, or relationship conflict.

Are you having difficulty adjusting to the end of a relationship or working through problems in your partnership? Have you suffered a loss from which you are having difficulty recovering? Feeling anxious about job changes, starting school, or a new role in your life? I am here to help you cope with the current challenges you are facing and facilitate the changes that you would like to make in your life. I can also help you to increase self-knowledge, improve your overall functioning, and increase your life satisfaction.

I am flexible in using an approach suited to the individual client, whether that is cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, relational, or mindfulness therapy. I provide long-term treatment, short-term goal-directed therapy, and single sessions for consultation and assistance in problem solving on a particular issue. I also work with people who are seeking therapy for self-actualization.

More Info About My Practice

I have been a psychologist for 17 years.

My full fee is $200 per 50min session. I also offer a sliding scale fee that ranges from $75 to $175 per session based on a client's personal financial situation, the mode of treatment requested, frequency of attendance, whether the client is using PPO insurance for partial reimbursement, and availability of sliding scale spots.

I provide monthly statements for clients who have PPOs and are able to see "out of network" clinicians. Clients then submit the statements to their insurance provider for partial reimbursement (amount depending on their plan). If you plan to use your PPO, check with your insurance provider ahead of time to confirm that you are allowed to see an "out of network" clinician and the percentage of your reimbursement.

I also work with individuals who have been granted Victims of Crime Compensation.

Call 626-429-9261 for a free phone consultation to ask any questions you might have and discuss whether I can assist you with your problem, concerns, or life goals.
