I believe that a warm, trusting relationship with a therapist can change a person's life. Therapy should be a safe place to explore your struggles, hopes, fears... anything that you want to discuss with a compassionate and knowing professional who cares. I have great respect for every client I see. I consider it an honor to hear your stories and work together with you to find solutions, strength, and healing.
My work in the field so far has included individual and couple's therapy at the VA, family, individual, and group therapy through Harmonium, Inc., and most recently outpatient work at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital. I am thrilled to have co-authored The Mindfulness Workbook for Addiction with New Harbinger Publications and to teach at USD.
I am very passionate about the field of psychotherapy and I put my whole heart into the work that I do. That means reading books and articles relevant to your particular needs so that I can provide you with the best possible experience in your therapy. You deserve it!

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
The most important aspect of therapy is the connection between you and your therapist. You must feel comfortable and safe enough to be open with the therapist or counselor you work with. I pride myself on providing a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental presence for my clients. Take the step to reach out to me and see if I feel like the right fit!
