Counseling and therapy are valuable resources for all of us. Life can be messy, difficult, and overwhelming. My passion for helping others navigate life, cope with stress/loss and crisis, find strategies for better holistic health, and learn to love themselves is by far my greatest purpose.

I have been fortunate to work with some amazing individuals over the past 15+ years. My approach to helping others is holistic...mind, body, and spirit. A positive mindset, healthy body, and good support system will lay a solid foundation for your happiness and success. I look forward to meeting with you!

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Therapy is for the strong, not the weak.

It takes courage to look deep inside so you can better understand yourself, learn why you do certain things, and realize how your past may affect you now. Exploring your deepest and darkest fears and concerns takes fortitude and the willingness to be vulnerable and perhaps uncomfortable.

It's not always easy. Exploration takes patience and time.

My View on the Nature of 'Disorders'

My practice offers a holistic approach to treating psychological problems. The term holistic refers to a therapy that addresses the whole person "body, mind, and spirit." From a holistic perspective psychological health is directly related to the health of the body and the vibrancy of the spirit.

The whole person experiences psychological symptoms and those symptoms are both created and sustained in the body and brought to life as mental and emotional experiences. Holistic approaches empower individuals to be true to their authentic selves, find and use their natural strengths, and make good choices for better health and wellness.
