My Approach to Helping

Through a collaborative and empathetic process, I help clients face their personal and professional challenges with an eclectic approach. Drawing upon decades of education and direct experience, I offer interventions, techniques, and practical tools that are based in psychodynamic theory, neuroscience, and innovation. With a focus on mindfulness and intentional living, I assist people with gaining a thorough understanding of their reactions to stressors and developing practices that support healthy shifts in perspective, communication, and behavior. By enabling people to separate their past from their present, they can free themselves from patterns that are no longer serving them. Additionally, when people's levels of anxiety, depression, and overall emotional discomfort decrease, opportunities are created for peace, happiness, and success.

More Info About My Practice

I offer phone, video, and office sessions, and because I hold licenses to practice in California and New York, I am able to accommodate clients who reside in both states. A Superbill can be supplied for insurance reimbursement for out of network services.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I help people develop the skills to live mindful and intentional lives, so they have the clarity to navigate and influence personal and professional relationships with thoughtfulness and impact. Specialties include parenting and relationship issues, as well as life transitions, such as marriage, pregnancy, career shifts, relocation, divorce, aging parents, and empty nest syndrome.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to help people identify their true desires, recognize the obstacles in their way, and draw upon their strengths in order to pursue satisfying and fulfilling lives. By providing compassionate support, perceptive insight, and practical tools within a collaborative dialogue, my clients feel empowered as they gain confidence in themselves to proceed with self-influence and agency in all aspects of their lives.
