Time and time again I've witnessed the power of therapy to help a person change their life - feel better, stronger, more confident. If you're considering therapy at this time, I'm here to help. Our work begins with you - your strengths, the places where you desire change. I work actively and openly to understand your problems, to address the places where you feel stuck, and to create new possibilities. Together, we'll work to understand the emotional and interpersonal patterns that can get in the way of self-confidence and personal happiness. My firm intention in all my work will be to help you solve problems, increase self-understanding, deepen intimacy in relationships, have more joy, more life. I provide the kind of intensive individual therapy creates lasting change.

I am an engaged therapist and I specialize in helping you create your preferred life. I'm trained as a psychoanalyst, a clinical social worker and a couples therapist with considerable advanced training. I draw on many different therapeutic approaches - approaches I've learned and used over the years, and that people have found helpful. Clients find me warm and caring. I gently challenge when it's helpful, I readily share my thoughts and my sense of humor.
