Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I specialize in Pet Loss/Bereavement issues, and I understand on a personal level how devastating the loss of a companion animal can be. Grief needs validation to be worked through, especially with the loss of a pet. Individual sessions and referral to pet loss groups are available.

A significant amount of post graduate training has been in the Internal Family Systems Model (IFS) developed by Richard Schwartz, PhD. For more information about this model of therapy please visit

My other specialty is Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) and (EFP) Psychotherapy. I've been trained in the EPONAQUEST method. Equine-facilitated psychotherapy (EFP) and Equine-Facilitated Learning (EFL) are experiential forms of psychotherapy and learning that involve work with horses on the ground. No previous experience with horses is necessary. Some of the benefits of engaging in this type of experiential therapy are an increased sense of self-esteem, and self-confidence. Individuals also acquire practical tools for detecting and changing behavior patterns that inhibit their ability to live authentic and fulfilled lives. For more information on EPONAQUEST International please visit
