More Info About My Practice

I have a supervisory relationship with a Clinical Psychologist so that my clients can use insurance coverage for both a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Clinical Psychologist. Most insurance plans provide coverage for both. I offer a reduced rate for clients with no insurance or minimal insurance.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psychotherapy not only teaches clients how to cope better with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma/abuse, sadness, loss, grief, self-esteem and relationship struggles by developing positive coping strategies and new ways of managing and expressing their emotions but can also assist them to completely process/resolve issues in their lives that are causing them emotional distress. Most people have never learned or been taught stress management techniques or healthier ways to think about and work through challenging situations or emotions. Psychotherapy can function to help fill this gap in knowledge and/or skills.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

What I love about being a psychotherapist is the sense of meaning and purpose that it brings me. I feel very honoured and grateful that I have the opportunity to play a role in assisting clients on their life paths and see the progress that they will make.

My Role as a Therapist

I feel that my role as a psychotherapist is to assist clients individually and as couples to make significant positive changes in their life/lives. Psychotherapy not only helps clients learn how to cope better but can definitely improve the quality of their lives in terms of increased happiness, hope, joy, sense of peace and calm, self-love and self-acceptance, confidence and improved self-esteem.
