I am passionate in walking along side my clients to create meaningful relationships and to overcome issues that stand in their way of true happiness and fulfillment. Life can be tough at times. I meet my clients where they are and help them navigate the twists and turns until they are walking a path or meaning, purpose, and connection.
I work closely with children, adolescents, and adults to help heal their wounds and embark on a new journey of connection, authenticity, empowerment, and joy. Together, we work to develop treatment goals to fit each individual or couple's unique needs. I have a very straight-forward, supportive style and work hard to keep my sense of humor in tact in the therapy process.

I understand that starting the therapy process can feel daunting and overwhelming. I can answer any questions you might have about therapy or my practice. Once a decision has been made to start the process, my practice offers an easy stream-lined process for paperwork and scheduling to minimize the effort and allow you to focus on your busy life.

I strongly believe that relationships (past and present) have a profound influence in shaping our lives. I think we can all benefit from exploring significant relationships throughout the course of our lives and learning how these relationships have influenced our thoughts, beliefs, and values. I am always amazed at the insights and self-awareness this work provides. Often times, people feel stuck, bored, or unsatisfied with their lives and relationships. This "crisis" provides a wonderful opportunity to do some work to self-examine your long forgotten goals and dreams. This journey brings up many issues and questions. What role do I play in other's lives? Did I choose this role or was it assigned to me? What areas of my life create meaning and fulfillment? What gets in the way of truly living an authentic life? If people saw the "real" me, what would they see? The answers to the questions often change throughout different chapters in our lives. Allowing yourself the space to work through these issues can have a profound impact on your life and allow you to live the meaningful, purposeful, and authentic life you were created to have.
How Psychotherapy Can Help

I work with therapists, physicians, law enforcement, and other caregiving professions to address the effects of compassion fatigue and professional burn-out.
I work a great deal with anxiety in children, teens, and adults. We work to explore the patterns and triggers of anxiety and develop effective tools to find peace and success in overcoming anxious situations and feelings.
I have a passion for working with teens as they cope with stress in navigating the world of academics, social situations, family conflict, and relationship development.
