My therapeutic approach is eclectic, allowing me to draw on a variety of modalities to help guide my counseling. Because individuals are unique, the type of therapy that I provide is tailored depending on the client's needs and their goals for change. Building an authentic and solid relationship with my clients is the foundation for a good therapeutic outcome. Trust and support are at the heart of helping someone on their path to self awareness and healing. I find trust to be one of the most important qualities that clients need to help them grow and change, no matter why they are seeking therapy. I am also interested in the mind-body connection and how meditation and relaxation can help the body heal or manage physical discomfort.
I offer my clients a safe environment and honest non-judgmental support to explore and express themselves. Together we will work on identifying blind spots and unconscious beliefs that might be thwarting personal growth. Whether you are coming to see me because you want to talk about a painful experience, are seeking new coping skills or are just feeling stuck, we will work together to help you move forward and obtain a healthier state of mind.
I enjoy working with people from all different backgrounds and cultures. My interests includes working with active minded adults who are grappling with issues that, for example, may be directly affecting their work, relationships or just day-to-day life. Because of my interests in running and endurance sports, I enjoy working with athletes around challenges that might come up during and after their training which can include anxiety, confidence issues, grief and loss due to injury, or post-race blues.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I have been and continue to be amazed by people‚??s resiliency and the power they have to change themselves and make their lives better. Part of the reason I became a therapist was because of my innate curiosity to learn where someone came from, what their experiences were growing up, and what their beliefs about themselves might be. Knowing my client‚??s story helps me join and support them on their path to insight and healing.
