Billing and Insurance
I am an in-network provider for:
Fees: $70 to $110 per session. Price varies depending on whether I bill your insurance or you bill your insurance, pay using Paypal, pay out-of-pocket, or pay according to a sliding scale. If you have insurance with one of the companies with whom I'm a preferred provider and have met your annual deductible, you will only be required to pay what your insurance has determined to be your co-pay.

I work from a strengths-based, client-centered perspective. I believe that people have a healthy drive toward wellness, but the trials of life often lead them down paths that are counterproductive and even self defeating. A good therapist can help people rediscover joy in their lives and their relationships, as well as re-establish a healthy and strong sense of self. There is nothing more gratifying than to see people rediscover their unique strength and resilience, and a new-found capacity to survive and even thrive in the face of life's many challenges. With a therapist's caring support, new possibilities become a reality.

More Info About My Practice
I accept Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, Humana, and Medicare insurance. My fee varies slightly depending on whether I bill your insurance or you do, if you pay with a credit card or with cash. I also have a sliding fee scale for those who request it.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I have worked extensively with people who have experienced sexual abuse and other traumas. Eating disorders are another area of speciality. I have worked with people suffering from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and interpersonal issues. I'm also experienced in working with people facing difficult life-stage transitions and grief and loss issues.
How Psychotherapy Can Help
Life's challenges can be over-whelming, even for the strongest and most resilient of individuals. A therapist's support can help people deal constructively and effectively with these challenges. Sometimes just having someone with whom you can be perfectly honest can make all the difference in the world. A supportive and receptive therapist can help you recover your own capacity for self-care, relationship-building, day-to-day planning, and the creation of a healthy and positive future.
