With Master's Degrees in both Counseling and in Marriage and Family Therapy, I offer relationship-focused counseling for adults, couples, and families. I help couples find each other again and new parents feel like themselves again.
I am a hope-focused relationship counselor who believes that any couple can save or strengthen their relationship when both partners are open and committed to the work. Sometimes this work involves healing past hurts in order to move forward or restoring trust after infidelity. I would be honored to join you in your journey and I will work hard with you to help you create the relationship you desire.
If you're looking to understand and change what you contribute to your relationships, then this is for you. Small changes, even by one person can make an impact on a relationship. This can also be a great opportunity for the post-divorce transition to help you prepare to find love again.
I also help new parents navigate the transition to adding a baby to the family. I am trained to provide the leading post-partum depression preventing workshop for couples, Gottman's Bringing Baby Home. Let me help you stay on the same team, bond with each other and your baby, deal with the challenges, and create the family legacy you hope for.
Many individuals and couples seek my help with adjusting to an infertility diagnosis. I lead infertility-focused groups and offer private therapy as well.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
Getting started is easier than you might think. Call for a free 10 minute consultation by phone to get started. The first office appointment is usually offered within one week of your call.
Sessions are much like a conversation, with a purpose -- where your needs are the top priority. Sometimes there is homework, but it is always aimed at helping you live the life you desire, outside of the therapy room.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
Most people do not realize that relationships need specialized care because it's much more delicate a process than simply refereeing disagreements. No two relationships are identical. Be sure that you are getting help from a well-trained relationship-focused professional who can move beyond a textbook approach into truly customizing evidence-based help for your relationship.
Most counselors and social workers receive only 1 or 2 courses on relationships during their education and will generalize in practice (like a family physician does). When looking for relationship help, be sure you are seeing a specialist who truly understands relationships and has chosen to dedicate his or her practice to this delicate and complex subject.
