I'm a therapist practicing under supervision
to ask this therapist for billing and insurance information.
I believe that we all have the capacity for personal growth and fulfillment. I became a therapist primarily because I have always had a strong desire to connect with people in a genuine way and an intense curiosity about what motivates us as human beings. What makes us happy? What frightens us? And most of all, why do we do the things we do? I invite each client to look at these questions with fresh eyes. I bring curiosity and focus to each therapy session. I want to understand, first what makes you tick, and then to help you, through a combination of understanding, encouragement, support, challenge, and collaboration, to achieve greater happiness, fulfillment, and success in your life. Because we all have unique circumstances, this process looks different for every person, but the outcome has similarities; a feeling of relief, a greater sense of flexibility, and a sense of being understood and accepted unconditionally. With these things come the gradual development of a greater connection with your inner voice. Over time the relationship we develop in the counseling room becomes the agent for change, growth and healing.
I have experience working successfully with numerous clients from diverse backgrounds and I also offer couples counseling to clients who want to take a closer look at their love relationships and look for opportunities for growth and change there, or work to heal old wounds.

More Info About My Practice
I accept cash and check at the time of the appointment but do not bill insurance. My fee for individual counseling is $60/session and for couples or relationship counseling it is $80. I do offer a sliding fee scale for those who need it. Because it is so important to work with the right therapist, I offer a no-cost 20-30 min phone or in person consultation where we can talk about your goals and how I might be able to help you achieve them.
