My practice is called the Counseling Room. I work with both men and women who are curious about the difficult parts of their experience.

Although I work with a wide variety of issues, I specialize in working with anxiety and stress. Anxiety often does not receive the attention it deserves. Although it is a common human experience, it can be extremely uncomfortable and debilitating at its extreme. If you experience a high level of anxiety, I am sure you can attest to this. Fortunately, counseling is an effective, evidence based, treatment for anxiety.
When working with anxiety, I use a cognitive behavioral approach supplemented with mindfulness techniques. With mindfulness we can become aware of the subtle aspects of our minds that reinforce anxiety, and with cognitive behavioral therapy we can work on changing and addressing these aspects.
So, if you find yourself anxious more days than not, or find that your anxiety is hampering you, reach out. Counseling is an excellent way to work with a anxiety.
