I have a passion for helping individuals, couples, children, and adolescents navigate through their current issues to find hope, healing, and growth. I have specific expertise in several areas, including anger management, depression and anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use recovery, trauma and PTSD, communication and intimacy, divorce recovery, parenting, blended family issues, cutting and eating disorders in adolescents, and career and life transitions. I use a combination of techniques, including client-centered therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems theory, and existentialism. In addition, I am trained to use play therapy when working with young children.
