Therapy is not easy. When an individual decides to participate in therapy he or she begins a process of exploring life circumstances and events that are often painful and complex. I am honored when a client chooses to embark on this journey with me. My approach to helping clients begins with the development of a supportive, safe relationship so that the client feels comfortable with introspection and sharing personal information. My job is to learn how my clients view their world so that I can join them in their perspectives and we can move forward from similar places. I use a combination of integrative therapeutic techniques to assist my clients explore and learn and am able to provide clients with appropriate tools and skills to enhance coping skills and improve quality of life.
