My Guiding Ethical Principles
Every human person is worthy of experiencing joy and sharing in a life of dignity and respect. My clinical practice is based upon these core principles, always taking into mind a need for compassion in a nonjudgmental setting. We begin at your pace, engage in emotional exploration at your comfort level and together, work toward a collaborative effort to alleviate your struggle and cultivate joy.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Engaging in a therapeutic relationship can produce initial feelings of anxiety and fear. We all pass through moments in life that leave us feeling empty and lost. Placing ourselves in the vulnerable position to take the first steps to make a change and seek professional help is a sign of strength and a recognition that we are worth the effort to improve our lives. We must first find strength and love for ourselves in order to love another.
