Billing and Insurance

I don't currently accept insurance, but I can provide documentation if clients wish to submit to an insurance company for "out of network" benefit coverage

Fees: Initial phone consultations are free. Individual and couples therapy sessions are $120 per 55 minute session.
While my practice does not accept insurance, I do encourage you to check your out of network benefits as you may qualify for reimbursements for mental health services. I offer lower cost fees under certain circumstances.

Life transitions often presents us with challenges that leave us feeling stuck. Relationship issues, illness, grief, loss and general unhappiness with ourselves and others are all obstacles which can impact our emotional health and invoke feelings of loneliness, anger, resentment and shame.

Through my practice, I aim to provide a confidential, nonjudgmental and caring environment where we can work together to set therapeutic goals and move through these life transitions. The therapeutic alliance can lead to improved self-awareness and compassion, personal growth and the strengthening of our relationships with self and others. I use theoretically based approaches to assist in reaching set goals to achieve a new found understanding and strength.

My Guiding Ethical Principles

Every human person is worthy of happiness and a life full of dignity and respect. My clinical practice is based upon these core principles, always taking into mind a need for compassion in a nonjudgmental setting. We begin at your pace, engage in emotional exploration at your comfort level and together, work toward a collaborative effort to alleviate your struggle and cultivate joy.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Engaging in a therapeutic relationship can produce initial feelings of anxiety and fear. We all pass through moments in life that leave us feeling empty and lost. Placing ourselves in the vulnerable position to take the first steps to make a change and seek professional help is a sign of strength and a recognition that we are worth the effort to improve our lives. We must first find strength and love for ourselves in order to love another.
