We struggle with conflict every day and rarely resolve it. I use a mindfulness-based psychodynamic approach to help individuals, couples, and families identify more effective strategies for improving their conflict resolution skills. This approach is intended to help people of all ages become more self-sufficient and confident.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

I believe that Therapy is a process that can help anyone who identifies that they are in need of additional support to negotiate their current position in life. I believe that we all have and use coping mechanisms effectively, and in general we only seek help when these coping mechanisms fail. My goal in therapy is to help individuals identify what they personally need to improve their ability to manage their distress.
