Do you or your teen struggle with anxiety? Is anxiety or depression affecting relationships, school work, sleep patterns, the ability to make good decisions, or interfering with career goals? Stress is a normal part of life, anxiety is not and can be undone in many cases. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I help clients identify changes that can make a major impact on how we think, feel and behave. If you or your teen struggle with any of the following symptoms of anxiety, please call today. In many cases, I offer same-week appointments.

Anxiety Symptoms: Persistent worry about grades, relationships, money, social media gossip, college; difficulty falling asleep or waking during the night; irritability; difficulty making decisions; and/or constantly feeling like you are falling short of expectations. Stress is a normal and necessary motivator which can lead to anxiety if left unchecked. Call today for a free phone consultation.

My Therapy Focus

My therapeutic approaches are Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). With CBT, we will work to identify Negative Automatic Thoughts that impact the decisions you make which lead to more negative thoughts and consequently negative behaviors. Once identified, we can work toward analyzing these thoughts (i.e., their origins) to develop new ways of thinking. If a Solution-Focused approach is what your situation calls for, we will begin to develop a plan to identify what is working for you and what is not. Once we have identified your strengths, the next phase of the plan is to build on those strengths in order for you to start living the life that you were meant to live.
