Pregnancy, giving birth and the first years of parenting are life changers that can throw anyone off balance. The many intense new experiences ranging from simply sweet and magical to absolutely terrifying and disheartening can create overwhelming turbulence. Are you wondering if it has to be this hard? It really doesn't, and I want to help. I specialize in guiding women through the emotional challenges that the birth of a new baby can bring on. My aim is to help you get to an the parenting experience you have hoped for while also taking care of your own needs as a mother..

Many women struggle during this time. Your new baby's presence affects everything: your responsibilities, relationships, how you feel about yourself and even the way you cope and function. This can be an isolating and exhausting experience. Depression, anxiety and worry may creep in and hinder your ability to enjoy your life with your new baby. Sometimes things don't go as planned and birth interventions like induced labor or cesarean section, even with good outcomes, can haunt you. Vivid images, dreams or fears about your birthing experience may not go away without help. You may suffer from emotional numbness, fears or a sense of reliving the traumatic events over and over again. If any of this is happening to you, there is help. You don?t have to ?muscle through? and endure alone. You can get better with help. I want to help you manage and understand what is happening to you. This process will enable you to develop a different perspective and learn new skills to get you back to feeling like yourself. The result? You can bond with your baby, engage with your family and get back to your life.

I am a mom of two who has first-hand experience with a traumatic birth, the stresses of a stay in a NICU, and the joys of moving on to bonding and raising my kids. I am passionate about helping you get through the hard parts so that you can be the parent and person you want to be.
