Welcome- I work with women who are facing mood and anxiety concerns during pregnancy and postpartum. Many women experience a range of emotional changes that can interfere with how they are taking care of themselves and their families. I often hear women say "I just don't feel like myself" or "This isn't me". Motherhood can be challenging and overwhelming under the best of circumstances. And if your expectations don't match your daily reality, feelings of disappointment, embarrassment and shame can make it difficult to reach out for help. My approach is to support you in giving yourself permission to acknowledge your feelings and experiences-no matter what they may be.

I offer a safe, supportive environment to help you navigate your way through this important time in your life. My work with mothers commonly includes developing self care and coping skills, exploring how your past is influencing your present, exploring issues of identity, and strengthening your relationships with the people most important to you. If your mood/symptoms are getting in the way of taking care of yourself and your family, it's important to know that you're not alone, you're not to blame, and with help you can feel better.
