You've gotten so good at keeping up a front. Hiding how anxious you really feel, how much you doubt yourself, or what you don't like about your life. But keeping your feelings and experiences to yourself can take a toll- on you and on your relationships. You're ready for things to change, but where do you begin? Why can't you just stop feeling this way and move on? These questions are a great place to start. Together, we'll figure out how to help you find your way to feeling better and creating a more satisfying life .
I work with adults who are coping with the stresses and troubles that life can bring-when things are not turning out the way you were hoping. I provide trauma informed therapy for adults who have experienced childhood abuse and other traumatic events, and help for people facing unexpected changes/loss (in areas of health, divorce, parenting, career, etc.). My approach is to support you in giving yourself permission to acknowledge your feelings and experiences-no matter what they may be.
I offer a safe, supportive environment to help you navigate your way through the challenges you're facing. My work commonly includes developing self care and coping skills, exploring how your past is influencing you right now, and strengthening your relationships with the people most important to you. If your mood/symptoms are getting in the way of taking care of yourself and living your life, it's important to know that help is available. Healing and change is possible.
