Hello. As a clinician of individual and couple therapy, I believe skilled psychotherapy requires a number of different factors, while taking place within a respectful professional relationship. A therapist needs to have an excellent understanding of human behavior, problems that can result or disorders that can develop, and how people can progress to grow and change. Examining one's difficulties by talking about them in therapy is so very important. Additionally, medication can often be a great help to people, as we continue to increasingly understand the biological and hereditary factors involved in many behaviors and problems. Thanks for reviewing my profile and the consideration for our working together towards greater health.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Over many years of practice and in a variety of different settings, I've treated a wide range of problems including depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I'm a member of The Baltimore Society for Psychoanalytic Studies.
In addition, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder(OCD) can be a very disabling, and often lifelong, problem. However, with proper treatment and support, a great deal can be done.
