**Please note that my website might take a few seconds to load. Thank you!
I am an experienced couple's and sex therapist that specializes in helping couples and individuals decode their sexual lives and work through any issues related to their relationships, family or history. I help clients move toward health and pleasure. I create a safe and completely non-judgmental space where we can explore previously difficult conversations about intimacy and relationships. I often utilize homework that will create lasting change that includes experiential exercises, media and worksheets. My approach is strength based which emphasizes personal strengths to aid empowerment. All clients are resourceful and resilient.
**I also Supervise new therapists entering the field and they work out of my private practice providing sliding scale opportunities.**

More Info About My Practice
Individual therapy includes issues like relationships, career, sexuality, orientation and gender concerns, trauma, abuse and family of origin work.
I work with Individuals and couples on issues including sexuality, conflict, relational concerns, and intimacy. Whether your relationship is out of balance, or you're in a sexless marriage, I can help you through psychotherapy. Together, we will discuss what is needed to create and maintain authentic, healthy relationships.
All therapy is all-inclusive and I have knowledge and experience working with sexual minorities and non-traditional relationships including open relationships, poly, kink/BDSM, swingers and LGBTQIA++ clients.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I have additional, specialized training in sex therapy as well as marriage, couple and family therapy. The majority of therapists don't take even one course in sexuality even if they plan on being a marriage therapist. Sex therapy is not offered at most universities.
Couples Counseling is one area in which I have additional courses, training, and practice. Whether you are a new couple, just engaged, or have been married for 20 years we will discuss what is needed to create and maintain an authentic and healthy relationship.
My Role as a Therapist
My role is to be a collaborative and supportive therapist. Together we will discuss what is needed to create change. We'll work together to create goals that will contribute towards your growth.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
I believe real-life experiences deeply influence my work as a therapist. My husband and I have been together since 2000. We have experienced the high pressures of the corporate world, moving, career change and other life stressors- all within the first few years of marriage. These life experiences contribute to my ability to be a compassionate therapist no matter where you're struggling.
