I love helping my clients gain momentum toward the life they want - in every session. You may feel stuck, alone or helpless. You might have thoughts or feelings that you can't manage and that get in the way of you feeling secure and whole.
Every therapist has a unique style. Mine is to focus on positive changes that you can make to feel better now. Your past can give us helpful insights and I also help you look optimistically to the future.
I'm a Bay Area transplant and I worked for two decades as a busy leader and manager in small, mid-sized and large organizations. I know the challenges that today's working person experiences and I help my clients navigate the personal and professional relationships in their lives.
It can be difficult to notice our thoughts and emotions and the effect that they have on us. But when we do, a magic moment happens that can leads us toward a new and different behavior and experience for our lives. I am passionate about helping my clients find that magic moment because it ignites a momentum that sets their lives in a more positive direction.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I work with clients for a variety of reasons and I specialize in:
Many of my clients work with me around challenges with compulsive sexual behaviors and sex addiction, sexual identity issues, and navigating sexual issues in relationships.
Anxiety and fear issues:
I help people who are struggling with racing thoughts, overwhelming feelings of dread, social anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias.
Life and career transition issues:
Individuals may feel stuck in their careers, unsatisfied with their life circumstances and unsure how to move forward and how to live a life that reflects their values. These challenges are often accompanied by feelings of shame, anxiety, and sadness. I work with them as they assess where they are and where they want to be in their lives.
How Psychotherapy Can Help
There are many ways to help you create positive change and gain momentum toward the life you want. We will work together to identify your therapy goals and what approach might be most meaningful and useful to you. These could include:
Becoming more aware of and changing your relationship to feelings and thoughts that can get in the way of you living the life you want.
Identifying and implementing specific behavioral changes that are consistent with your values and how you want to live your life.
Examining and understanding the impact of important relationships in your life and increasing emotional connectivity in your current relationships.
